Thanks for the review! I have the FR235 and I mostly like it. How does this device compare for running? How does the Samsung gear app compare to the Garmin connect? Thanks!

If you run a lot, stick with the Garmin. It lasts much longer when using GPS, has a screen that's brighter outdoors, and Garmin's app provides better details about your runs.

Gear Fit2 SW has a lot of bugs yet. E.G. it doesn´t show calories burnt by indoor excercise (stationary bike, eliptical...). Next, really big issue, it doesn´t consider heart rate (excercise intensity) by calorie calculation. If you run like devil, or walk, calories will be same. I hope, Samsung resolves these issues very quickly, because Fit2 is very stylish, comfortable band with many advantages.
