Buying ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH71 (Need last thoughts)

Hello members,
I will be buying ASUS ROG GL752VW-DH71 17.3-inch Gaming Laptop (Intel i7 2.6GHz, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD, GTX960M 2GB Graphic Card, Windows 10) from Amazon US for $999. As a last thought, kindly suggest me some alternatives.

PS: I have choosen this laptop because my budget is limited to max 1000$ only. It is a great value for money laptop at this price.

Hi,

I bought it back in january for the same price and i don't really recommend it:

The specs are ok, but i added an SSD and i having MAYOR problems to install the proper video drivers, it's been a headache.

The sound it's low at 100%
Battery lasts mb between 2-3 hours
Some models have different sockets for an SSD upgrade, (Depending on Canada or US models).

So tbh, probably it's best to save more money. I can't really recommend other models because at the long run you need to use it, as u see the expecs are great...but well i, in particular having these problems.
