7. Then press the "Power" button to hard reset the tablet.

Also, you can try the following....

1. While on Samsung logo. press power key + volume up and down + home button (all together)
2. When the screen is off. Press Power key + Volume Up + home button to enter recovery mode.
3. Wipe Data
4. Wipe Cache
5. Reboot to system

Let me know if either works for you.

Hi, am Ronald. i did press the three buttons but all it did is come system mode of the light green robot with wordings " Dowloading......Do not turn off target!!

I did the following:

2. Press the "Power" and the "Volume Up" buttons, together, until you see the start-up logo on the screen.

3. Once you can see the logo, release the buttons and allow the device to enter the "System Recovery Mode".
but the device did not enter the system recovery mode that allows me to scroll. instead it brought the android Robot green logo with the wordings " Dowloading......Do not turn off target!! and it stuck there.
so have no help am still stuck. the phone was okay when i came to office, it was in idle mode and just went black and refused to start but just displayed the samsung GALAXY Tab 3 lite wordings in a flash mode on and off.
