My phone worn't turn on, phone heats up when power button pressed.

Pulled out my phone (Moto G Gen 2) screen was black, I tried to turn it on by holding the power button but all that happened was it started to get warm, no reaction to a charger.So I need help now.

Try replacing the battery, check the charging port, try with a different charger. Past that it's likely the system board that needs to be replaced. Maybe cheaper to find a used working phone.
