I have succeeded to unlock my phenom II x3 720 BE on a Gigabyte MA-770T-U3D mobo. All stability tests ok BUT my Realtek sound has intermitent noise as if there would be a bad contact. Does anybody know if there is a solution or it comes from a not working well 4-th core?

Thanks for advice!

Also if you are not using a mic go into the Sound manager and mute that channel (alot of times that type of noise is just feedback on the line-in or microphone input.

But I do not think it is connected to having the 4th core unlocked (unless the extra power being used by the CPU is the cause of the feedback !)

Have reinstalled the realtek driver but unfortunately no success. Muting didn't help either.
In the meantime I have checked all 4 cores up to 3.5 GHz at stock voltage.

I see no spikes in the task manager. I notice that the noise is less in one of the two audiochannel so that I can greatly improve using audio balance.
