Text message icon meanings

when I opened the first page where it shows all my text messages there's sometimes a icon in right corner. For example one of them looks like a microphone with a X next to it like the same symbol that shows when your phone volume is off what does it mean and what other icons like this are there and what do they mean ...also sometimes the messages say sent and sometimes they say delivered, what's the difference for that too.

Hard to know what icons are there since we can't see your screen or know what phone you have or know what program you are using for texting.

The messages about sent and delivered is just that, when you send it and when it was delivered to the other side.

Look at the manual or support site for your phone or contact your service provider, they would know what icons mean what.
