s4 when using mic to text a word appears when i tap mic?

When I first start a text and tap the mic icom I get the word boat on screen. If I tap it again I get the same word. No matter how many times I tap it that word keeps coming up. My little one might have hit something that caused this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you need to reset your keyboard. To do this please do the following.

On your Home screen, press "Menu"...then "Settings".

On the settings screen tap "My Device" and scroll down to, and tap on, "Language and Input".

Now click on the "Settings Icon" next to the keyboard you wish to use.

On this screen scroll down to and tap on "Reset Settings".

Tap "OK" and your keyboard should be reset.
