Best headphones, for upgrade?

So im looking for some new headsets as my current ones are a getting a little ruined. Anyways currently I own a pair of Audio Technica M50x's, If you know any headphones that are better then these. Just to note I prefer over ear, and I use these for games like GTA5, payday and such. However the main use of these will be for music production. So if you could help me that would be awesome!

AKG's K612 is very neutral sounding and will be good for music production. It sounds roughly the same as their K601 except with a little bit more bass.

Sounds like a good headphone!, I believe theres a store around me that has a couple of those out to try. Thanks.
