Hello,

I am not sure if I may ask this question here, but I have no idea where to ask it.
Yahoo forums do not recognise the question, and Answers do not help either!

I am using W.7 Ultimate, and Firefox Browser.

In my Yahoo Mail, I have created some Groups in my contacts list.

When I used to type the Group Name in my BCC line, the names of those in the group would appear. I would then add the text and click on send and they would all receive an individual letter.

When I type the group name in my BCC line now - nothing happens.

Short of typing each name individually, I am not able to send a BCC to any of my created Groups.

Does anyone have an answer for this, please?

Thank you,

Colin.

Hello Alabalcho.
Thank you for your reply.
I am aware of the possibility of Spammers utilising the email addresses of Groups that may be inserted in the TO or CC lines.
The purpose of the BCC line is to prevent such a possibility and ensure that each addressee receives the message without revealing the other addresses in the Group.
If, as you intimate, Yahoo may have disabled this facility, I would be surprised that they would be so unconscious of web security.
This type of action would discourage the use of Yahoo Mail for many users, and so I do not think that your suggestion is an option for the reason behind my difficulty.

Regards,
