Phenom II X4 'Core Unlocker'?

I just bought the Phenom II X4 840 3.2GHz and the ASUS M4A87TD EVO which has a "core unlocker" switch right on the board. I have no idea what this means or what I should have it set on. I imagine that I would want to use all the cores, right?

that cpu only has 4 cores >.> the core unlocker would do nothing thats only for the phenom II dual cores or the athlon x3

no Phenom II x4 is a true quad-core so there are no cores to unlock

You may have a very small chance of unlocking L3 cache as the 840 is really an Athlon but to run it normally leave the option disabled
