Is a HD+ (1600x900) worth it for a 14" laptop?

I'm a Computer Science grad student and this laptop will be my primary computer. Is it worth shelling out extra for a HD+ screen ? I'm a little tight on my budget, so I was thinking about cutting some cost with this.

Well... the 1600x900 resolution screen allows you to see more information on the screen at once compared to a 1366x768 resolution screen. Personally I would not hesitate going for the higher resolution.

If you live near a Best Buy I recommend you go there and check out the 14" Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 14 to help you decide. All the Best Buy stores I went to around me carries that laptop in the store. It has a 1920x1080 resolution screen. You can decrease the resolution to 1600x900 and 1366x768 to see which resolution is better for you.

Be aware that when you use lower than the max resolution on a LCD screen text will not look as sharp. It is a limitation of LCD technology when you lower the resolution.
