Yes, with the 7400p it will play all games at 30+fps@ native screen resolution. It's far from the best gaming machine, but is a good all around laptop. I wouldn't buy it from best buy as newegg will have it from $400-450. Unless the ACER E5-573G-59C3 is available for under $500 again, that ASUS is the best laptop in the price range.

I believe the ASUS ones you have selected are the same model from best buy and amazon. Newegg has the cheapest price on that unit @ around $450 new. If you search X550ZA-WB11 on there, they also have open box models for $341. The A10-7400P is likely going to be better at gaming then the i7 5500u's HD GRAPHICS 5500. I noticed that one is over $600. This is a far better deal for $599 as it has a quad core i7 and a dedicated gpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315062&cm_re=acer_i7_940m-_-34-315-062-_-Product It should beat all of those models in everything.

Also, this model is the newer version of the last one I posted @$660, Dual core i7, 4gb video card instead on 2gb, 1080p screen instead of 768, and ac wireless instead of wireless n. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315015 The CPU isn't as good as the last post, it lacks a dvd drive in comparison, and the 4gb gpu will probably never be able to use it all, but maybe it can output to 4k for movies? Also, you'll likely have to turn most new games back down to 768/720p anyways to run at acceptable framerates. Probably a better video performer than the last, and a slightly better gamer.
