Your question can have many replies. Comparing the two big brands just by their names would neither be ethical and nor would it be appropriate to comment on.

Laptops from both the brands receive both positive and negative reviews depending upon their weight, screen resolution, hardware specifications, and durability.

Can you please be more precise as in which context you want to compare the said brands?

Brands don't mean much. Models mean everything.

A cheap Dell Inspiron can be trashy, but a Latitude or XPS are high end and high quality.

The same can be said about Asus. X series is low end, N series is high quality.
