Please help: Finding a light-weight laptop for around $500-700

I'm looking to buy a slim, light weight laptop (or an ultrabook) with good cooling system and battery life for studying purpose in the price range of 500-700. I might play some games on it but not the hard-core ones. There are so many laptops now that I don't know what to choose. Please help !! Thanks in advance

I would try and find a lenovo laptop as they are the best laptops for this.
