Verizon LG 4G LTE phone NOT CHARGING

I have a Verizon LG 4G LTE phone, I plug it up to charge it and the blue light will show, and say a few seconds to a minute later the light goes off and nothing will work, what to do?

Yes, I would leave it on the charger for hours and nothing.

I take the back off and reinstall the battery. This resets the it and allows the phone to recharge. It only happens when the battery is completely drained and it shuts it self off.
