No Video when DVD played

I have a Sony Home Theatre system connected to an ARRIS Set top box all connected to a TOSHIBA TV. Everything works fine except when I go yo play the DVD play on the Sony Home Theatre system - there is sound but no video. Whst is wrong here?

check your audio settings or there is like a switch which looks like a comb push tht in it might be that
