lost cell phone

what I need is a tag to attach to a cell phone which is constantly set down in different places by my wife who has no pocket. therefore, she does not have the cellphone with her to find the lost object being the cell phone. And she shuts off the phone at night or the battery dies, so there is no way to phone it. Is there a tracking device to attach to a phone that can be sent a phone call alert to emit a tone even when the phone is shut off?

This sounds kind of like getting a second phone to attach to the first phone...

It sounds like you need to get her a new phone (or at least a new battery for the existing phone).
