My tablet wont turn on/off!?!?

my tablet was acting funny, so i restart it, then it wouldnt turn back on. so i tried the next morning and when i clicked the on button, it flashed then went black again and it wouldnt do anything when i charged it. but i also noticed that in certain lights i could see the words 'restart, device will restart, cancel, ok'
i tried to click ok and it didnt do anything, i also tried cancel, and it didnt do anything. i have also held down the power off button and nothing happened. so basically it is just stuck like that. i dont know if i have to go get it fixed, or if i can do anything!?!?

Yes, it needs repairing but if the manufacturer's warranty has expired it will probably be cheaper to replace it.
