I'm on a pretty tight budget, so thought I'd be better off getting a refurbed laptop from laptopsdirect and trying to get one in the £300-£400 range. I know for that money I'm not going to be playing high end games on high setting but I think there's a few which could be pretty good value for money.

I've read a few things about the GeForce GT 740M as being able to play good games on medium setting (I was looking at a Lenova Z510) and also there's a few with things like Radeon hd 8750m which are similar. also see a lot of good reviews about Asus laptops. These were the links I was looking at.

Basically if anyone has any good advice for getting a good value laptop, I'd really appreciate it. I'm pretty clueless about what's good and what's not. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice.

Yes, I think so.

Can't seem to find too much else out there which is much better. It's mainly to be used for software development, but I'd like to play Skyrim too :D
