Hi,

A while ago i purchased an HP Pavillion 15-E013TX as my old laptop broke. I upgraded it to windows 8.1 and ran CS:GO. When i first got it i was getting 120-140FPS. After a few months i noticed that this was decreasing, until it was dropping below 60 about a week ago.
I then used the "Refresh your PC" feature to try to gain some of this back, expecting the problem to be with software i had loaded onto the PC.
It refreshed, I loaded up CS:GO and was getting even worse than i had been getting before. I am now getting beween 30-40FPS with the exact same settings and setup on the game.
I would appreciate it if someone could help me solve my problem and what i should do to overcome it and get back to the 120-140FPS i was happy with.

Thanks.

I need a lot more information about your laptop.

But by the sounds of it, is sounds like a hardware thing as you have the same programs as you had before. You could try and scan for a virus just to make sure that nothing is infected.

Another thing you could try is cleaning your pc as dust can affect performance

I could go on but could you tell me what your hardware specs are.
