Hi, I'm looking to purchase a microSD card for the new tablet that I am planning to purchase, the Nvidia Shield. As the model I am buying only comes with 16GB of inbuilt memory, I am planning on expanding it with a 64GB MicroSD. I have come across the two options below:

However, I don't understand what the difference between the two really is, especially regarding their use in tablets, does it not really matter which one I get? Is it like comparing 2 different speed SSDs or is one of them better suited for installing apps/accessing apps that are on them?

SD memory card manufacturers use different types of flash memory to create an SD memory card. The SD Association defines Speed Class standards indicated by speed symbols to help consumers decide what card will provide the required minimum performance for reliability. There are two kinds of speed indications regarding SD bus generation:

One is written as a number like 2, 4, 6 or 10 within a circle.
Other is written as a number 1 or 3 within U (UHS).

These numbers represent speed class. Generally, higher the number the more data transfer or specifically the writing performance.
UHS Speed Class is designed for UHS devices only and designates minimum writing performance to record video on UHS products.

For tablet you don't need UHS class SD Cards as they are more commonly used in Cams. Stick with number class mark.

A lot of games probably, and I'm guessing the ported across PC games are fairly large as well.
