Tablet for uni?

Noob looking for a good tablet. Don't care for specific companies as long as it's good.
What's the best tablet to get for around 400€ (~530$) to get. I'm starting uni and it would be used mostly at school most likely. Will probably play some casual games (windows?) and watch some videos. Was looking in to some and like the microsoft surface with its laptop likness

In my opinion they are the best for uni for the best of power and portability.
