Samsung Tab S or the iPad Air?

Would the Samsung tab S 10.5 or the iPad Air be better for Video Watching,Social Media,and school. Thanks

The Samsung tab S. I'll admit I'm more than a little bit biased, because apple doesn't release the amount of RAM, etc on their website, but the AMOLED Display is great for movies.

EDIT: note that android currently does have a tablet optimised app deficiency, so you may have problems with some apps.

You will get split opinions on here.
I prefer iPad Air (obviously biased as i have one)
You get free iWork suite, iphoto and imovie for school.
Great games for journey to and back from school.
Plenty of video viewing apps for all formats.
And battery life is amazing.

At the end of the day, go to a shop and try both and buy what you prefer.
