This breaks down both models. Tab S 10.5 has a higher ppi at 288 compared to the air's 264 so in theory the Tab will be a better viewing experience, however at that high of ppi it won't make much of a difference. Both have identical price and similar battery life so it comes down to whose software you prefer more.
