Need verification of DVB FTA feeds on the KU side of G10.

As the title says.

I am planning on getting a BEC DBS 2000 DVB receiver to
watch the FTA channels that lyngsat list for the KU band on Galaxy 10.

Mainly the network feeds UPN, WB...(on and on)
I have family that lives in the viewing area of some of the stations listed,
and it would be nice to keep track of the local news that those stations
carry.

I have a KU dish for the job, but before I spend $170 for the reciver,
I was wanting to make sure the feeds are available for free on that
satellite.

So, is the page on lyngsat for G10 correct, for the most part?

Is there any major errors in the list I should know about?

Can I get the network feeds with the receiver I am getting?

Is the feeds likely to stay there for any length of time?

Is there any other satellites that carry a lot of FTA DVB network

There are a lot of feeds on that satellite. I mainly use it to pick up
the ABC news and Nightline from the affiliates in Casper and Cheyenne,
Wyoming, but I have tuned across UPN and WB on G10R. I am in the Central
Time Zone so it is nice to be able to watch ABC later than usual.

I also like the PBS feeds on AMC3. I don't know if the BEC receiver that
you buying with pick up the Dolby Audio required for the PBS stuff, but
it will surely work with Montana PBS which is also on AMC3.

There is an NBC affiliate available from Lake Charles, Louisiana on SBS6.
I have not yet discovered a CBS affiliate on FTA, but I have found a few
CBS newsfeeds.

None of us know how long these stations will continue to be available. I
hope it will be there for a very long time, but I am prepared for the
worst.

There should be no problem receiving G10R with the receiver you mentionned.
The equity bouquet has been on G10R for more than a year so it is likely to
stay there although with Free-To-Air you can't be 100% sure that the
channels will stay there.

Yes, the charts are accurate.

The BEC is a great unit for the price, but $170 is a bit steep!

Be aware that you will not be able to receive audio from the PBS stations
with the BEC.

If you are prepared to spend $170, spend a few more dollars and get a much
better receiver with Blind Search and AC3 ..... I am very impressed with the
Fortec Lifetime Ultra.

high. There are alot of network feeds out there, I have a old c band
big dish & have
it pointed to (F1) or AMC7. It has cbs,nbc,abc,fox,upn & one more
network channels. But you do need a C band dish/lnb, otherwise there
are other Ku band
network feeds but there are alot of c band digital feeds also.
