hello :), seems i'm not the only one to have got a laserdisc player
laseractive totally destroyed, mine seemed ok, the seller just said that
the tray wasnt working, i tried testing the unit (i live in europe), so
i got a 220v-110v converter, it started to smell bad, then explosions
appeared on the power output !!

shame, i noticed too late that the motherboard of voltage was destroyed in
an angle, si i figure it's because of that and certainly the shipping

perhaps it's worse but i dont know.

so... if you havent destroyed of throwed your unit, could someone sell me
the power output 125w ?? or is there luck that Pioneer did the same units
on several laserdiscs players !!

the only parts even i could get are from my 2950 pal/ntsc unit (and i count
on it..)

perhaps that could save the laseractive, my heart gone really bad since
this "explosion", lose about 250$ on few secondes hurts :(

or can we solder and refix a 2 parts broken PSU ??

pictures of the broken soul.. (mine too..)

This looks like the power supply for a CLD-A100. the part number on the
board should be DWR1156. It has been substituted by DWR1196, which is
available from Pioneer US @ $122.50. The foil fractures look a little to
severe to try and repair with any confidence.
Good luck!!

if you want an interactive laserdisc machine with decent features, like
digital sound, i can sell you a cld-v4200 industrial unit for $160 with
remote, $135 without, plus shipping. this entire line of players has the
interface ports, some were used as replacements for the original gas laser
players used in arcade games such as dragon's lair and space ace. 7 day no
DOA, please inquire if interested.
i also have a couple cuv-113 remotes, standard with this series-- $35
postpaid=== paypal welcome; references upon request---
thanks, and enjoy--:)**
