Verizon WTF - Just did a phone update

So, got the Galaxy S5 a little while back. This morning I got a prompt to update the phone. I elected to do the update now.

Update completed... I got a bazillion 'wtf' messages from people in my address book. Apparently while my phone was being updated, a ton of people in my address book got text messages appearing to come from me. They covered pretty much every topic under the Sun. So far as I can tell, none of them were offensive, Thank God! So, it would seem some wires got crossed over at Verizon. Thanks a bunch... I hope they don't count against my totals for the month rofl.

Might want to contact Verizon/Samsung to verify that an update was released. If not, then I'd be questioning what exactly you downloaded.

I also got the verizon update this morning with my s5. I've had none of the issues you had though.

Thanks for confirming the update. I checked the basics to make sure it was legit. I don't download anything funky. I don't experiment with any random stuff on the Google store. I was 99% confident based on how I use the phone, but am glad to hear some verification
