Hey this is kinda a long thread but if you can help me please do so since I really miss my phone and you'd be awesome, thanks. You can also read the text with the underline for a quick overview of what the problem is.

I might be too detailed but it's so it's as clear as possible and without needing to ask much questions bc I can understand that would be harder, I guess.

I accidentally deleted my 'Home Screen Selector' on my LG L90.
I thought I didn't need it, since I did not delete the Home Screen. (there was another home screen but I didn't need/want that so I thought I wouldn't have to choose, apparently my phone needs it to get to the homescreen.

Now I can't use my phone, so I went to the store where I bought it, the guy recommended me installing a custom rom.
Otherwise I could send it with the possibility of getting it repaired. (Rooted my phone, warranty is voided)
Got my phone 2 months ago btw.

So now I need to install a custom rom and boot it up from there, the problem is: I don't know how to, and yes I did obviously google it, but there were specified tutorials for specific phones.
LG Makes things a little different, as I noticed trying getting to the Recovery & Download Mode.

If anyone could please tell me how to install a custom rom - (I can open my file manager but I can't open any apps from there) (I might be able to connect it to my pc, altough that's pretty hard using an LG Device)
- that would be highly appreciated and I'd be extremely thankful.

I can't use recovery mode to select which boot method I wanna' use, as far I know, it only features a factory reset which does not help.
Thanks.

Factory reset only resets system apps and deletes user apps but doesn't restores System deleted apps, once deleted they are gone. You could make it work with stock ROM as well. If you can boot your device, transfer these three apps and install them:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/brt49tiuwvcbcfy/GoogleHome.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download/6zr3yloubzs15zf/Velvet.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download/9hrgjhmed91d193/PrebuiltGmsCore.apk

If above doesn't helps you have to flash ROM. See here:

Omg.. I can't thank you enough! Not really bc of any of the links but I used your idea, I downloaded some apk's to my phone, downloaded a keyboard, I was able to get into the playstore, and downloaded a home screen! Problem fixed :D I'm so happy right now I couldn't use my phone for 1/2 weeks, and I wouldn't be able to if you weren't here! I'm so happy right now.. Thanks.
