Hi all,

I just built a new pc, and am having trouble with TTG transfers (tivo
to pc) stalling after a few minutes. If I try the transfer directly
via my browser, the transfer stalls after exactly 17.2MB.

new pc:

DFI Lanparty Nforce 3 250 mobo
Athlon64 3000
1GB corsair RAM

New install of WinXP Pro w/ SP2

Everything with TTG worked fine with my old pc. And if I run Tivo
Desktop on my laptop, everything works fine. I just don't have a new
enough laptop to use for TTG, instead just running it on the laptop
and setting my save folder to a mapped drive on my main pc.

Any ideas on any settings on the pc/mobo that may be causing trouble
here?

TIA,
Martin O'B

Sounds more like a memory address problem than a mobo problem. Have
you been having problems with any other programs? When something is
downloaded it usually keeps it in memory then dumps it to the hard
drive. you might see about bumping up your cashe in your o s im
assuming your using windows xp?

Check the Energy Saving settings for the computer and the ethernet card,
maybe TCP is being turned off due to no keypresses???
