Well I had my 5040 all set to record the last two episodes of "Star Trek
Enterprise," but when I went to watch 'em, all had recorded was 1 minute of
"blue screen - no signal" for each show. For some reason, channel 8 in
Lansing Michigan was not broadcasting, as all my other channels were fine.
Channel 8 was still "blue screening" at the time. Does anyone know when
these will be rebroadcast? Otherwise, I guess I'll have to go to Poopli and
get 'em via IVS.

Thanks and Regards,

Margaret

The penultimate (next to last) episone is called "Terra Prime" and the
last episode is called "These Are The Voyages...".

Have you considered checking your guide for rebroadcasts? Here,
they're on again on the 15th (tomorrow).

If you've got a theme channel, just delete those 2 that weren't
recorded right, make sure the source is connected, and they wlll be
recorded whenever they're on.

I have those episodes, and can send them by IVS is you want, but try
tomorrow's showing first.

Thanks Mark. I see them in tomorrow's schedule, so I have them set to
reord. Channel 8 is broadcasting fine right now, so hopefully it will be
tomorrow. I've been recording them all season without problems ... till
this past Friday.

I've never played with theme channels. Perhaps I should check into them.

Margaret

Margaret, I think I have them on HD as I type. IF the next to the last
is "Tera Prime" and the last is "These are the voyages"

My e-mail is wa8yxm at arrl dot net

Send me a snail and I'll burn to DVD for you (I wish I had a web page I
could xfr them via but burn to DVD is the best I can do) Your choice of
Replay format (With ndx evt and xml) or DVD format. Also WKBD is not
the best station on my list, but it is very watchable.

Lansing has a chan 8, I though chan 8 was WOOD in Grand Rapids (Lansing
has WILX (Chan 10) back when, also CHAN 6 and a whole bunch of new ones
since I was in it's broadcast market)

Thanks for your very kind offer, John, if the episodes don't record tonight,
I will email you. Comcast Lansing recently had a major lineup revamp, and
so now the only channel that broadcasts ST Enterprise is channel 8, which is
now WHTV (UPN18 Jackson/Lansing). Although we still get WKBD from Detroit,
an awful lot of shows get "blanked out" because they are viewable on a local
station. I'm sure you know the phenomenon. Anyway, if channel 8 fails me
tonight, standard RTV5 format will be fine. I'll keep you posted. :)

Regards,

Margaret

I got the re-broadcasts on my 5504 too... I've still got them on HD
though and likely will burn them to DVD just because... Well they are
the last 2 eps

Rebroadcasts of important shows are a nice thing... A mini-series that
ends soon ... Ep 1 my wife erased on me.. I got one of the rebroadcasts
of it though so nothing lost
