Trivial Laserdisc Questions

I find it strange that after all these years of collecting laserdiscs I have
come up with two questions that I cannot figure out:

How many "spokes" are there on a CAV laserdisc?

The current laserdisc certification symbol (the leaning "L" with a rhombus)
is most likely from the time when the format as were known as
"LaserVision". What did the "DiscoVision" certification symbol look like?
Were there any other certification symbols used the the history of the
laserdisc?

Suddenly, Local Hooligan sprang forth and uttered these pithy words:

when you look at a CAV disc, there are distinct radial lines that go from
the inner hub to the outside edge. How many of those lines are there?

Most of the "spokes" each contain one line of video data, so at least
525 for NTSC discs (and presumably 625 for PAL)... there may be more
used for extra information like frame and chapter data, but one of the
resident gurus will have to chime in on that one.

LaserDisc has 2 "spokes" in CAV

VHD has 4 "spokes" and CED has 8 "spokes".

The "L" started as "LaserVision" in 1981 and was the "official" name
of the format through the 80s. In the late 80s, the format was
"officially" changed to "LaserDisc".
