Wholesale Change in Channel Lineup

In my area, Comcast will be changing almost the entire lineup of
channels in a few weeks.

Will I have to make any adjustments to my regularly scheduled repeating
recordings?

For example, "60 Minutes" (CBS) is now on Channel 9, but will be moving
to Channel 6. I record it every week. Will I have to manually make a
change, or will my Showstopper know of the channel change through the
nightly download?

Thanks!

It will know whenever Comcast gets around to informing Tribune Media of
the changes. zap2it.com is the Tribune website where you can see the
lineups.

When Comcast changed the entire lineup in my area, I emailed Zap2It. It
still took several days for the lineup change to be reflected in the RTV's
guide, so I did miss a couple recordings.

Margaret

The answer to that depends on how you programmed 60 minutes

If you programed "Record any occurance of 60 minutes on chan 9 at time
and day) Standard "Channel" type recording) then you will need to delete
that channel and create a new channel or change it to chan 6 (If you can)

On the other hand if you programmed a 6o minutes theme (Any occurance
of 60 minutes, any time, any channel) then your recorder will do as it
was told and record any occurance.

I'm guessing you did the first.
