Hello,
So I recently got offered a:
Lenovo Thinkpad w530 with an Ivy-Bridge 3720 chip (8GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD)
for $450
The guy told me it was used for a couple of months and returned because the original user wanted something more sleek (it was a corporate user).
I've looked at the laptop and actually saw it switched on and it looks brand new (literally).
The only catch is that I need to buy my own adapter for it (which will cost around $60).
Do you think this is one of those bargains that come along rarely or am I being too hopeful that this offer isn't too good to be true?
My use-cases for for the laptop are:
Watching media (I'm not really the type who cares for HD or ultra-HD)
Doing software development
Some "light" Data Science (which will require decent processing)
Light-gaming (playing Steam titles like CS 1.6)
My main usage is for development.
