I'm looking forward to purchase a smartphone for my fiancé?

Is "Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582" a good choice?

Price is OK, but a little over my range. I would highly appreciate if you can suggest an alternate phone with similar or even better specs, but slightly lower price. Please note, I'm based in Asia (India size), so please suggest the phone accordingly, which will be available in my market.

I could suggest you Asus Zenfone 4. It has similar specs with the samsung one, but it is cheaper. I dont't know whether it is available in india yet, so you can check again at your local stores.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582 is a pretty decent phone but you can find a better one under the same price.

After using Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582 for a month I am writing this review.
1. Build quality:- 3.5/5 --> Build quality is good same like other Samsung other galaxy series.

2. Processor:- 3/5--> Processor is ok. sometimes Lag or hang because of low ram but most of the times it is working fine.

3. Camera:- 4/5 --> Camera for this mobile is quite good at day time but night time with flash you can take good pictures. Video recording is also good.

4. Touch response:- 3.5/5 --> Touch response is quite good(butter-smooth). Typing is quite good.

5. Sound:- 3.5/5 --> Sound is crystal clear. You will be able to listen good music in loudspeaker and headphone mode as well. Voice call quality is very decent as it is having some other extra options like Clear sound/soft voice etc.

The best cellphones under $200 includes some of the smart phones which can pack some neat future. Look for an intuitive user interface and applications support.

dude go for panasonic p11 or ibeery nuclear(available only in flipcart) both ranging at the price of 11k
and has full HD display,quad core and 1 gb ram and 8 gb internal memory and extendable upto 32gb.
both are good as a camera as well and as the girl wants the desing for both are coool
