I will be getting the base model apple macbook pro 13 inch retina display and i have a choice between upgradding the cpu from 2.4ghz to 2.6 ghz or upgradding the ram from 4 gb to 8 gb, i will mostly be doing the following with this laptop: gaming, video editing with adobe after effects, photoshop cs6 and office 2013 along with a bit of xcode programming.
Mostly for gaming wich of the two upgrades would be more beneficial to get?
Thank you guys!

iceclock is correct. There wouldn't be a noticeable difference in processor speed but you will notice a big difference between 4GB and 8GB of RAM with video editing software and in After Effects. After Effects is RAM intensive and depending on the video you edit so will the video editing software.
