Samsung thinks first to market means everything.

Its about producing a product that people desire and brings marginal utility.

And most customers aren't tech people who know programming or hardware they are the exception.

If anyone can make smart watches a success its Apple. Every other company from Samsung to Sony has failed.

Have you even seen the Moto 360? Motorola has a way better chance than Apple.

To me, these watches are a waste since you still have to carry your phone and they slave to the phone somewhat. I also hate iTunes.

That being said...
From a sales standpoint, I believe Apple will be the first successful company with regard to these devices. Apple marketing has created such a need in their customers for the newest of their devices as well as turned their brand into a sort of smart status symbol. It can't help but sell.

Kudos to Apple marketing! They are amazing. Their methodology should be studied in business schools the world over.
