someone please help me

I have a galaxy s i896, I had some personal files on it that I cant access anymore because my ex roomate stole my phone one night and encrypted these files onto an sd card using his blackberry and has them on an online account of his somewhere. Now I cant get these files on my phone and dont have the sd card to even try to recover them. Im very frustrated and would appreciate any help or advice anyone has. Thanks!
