ASUS G56JR vs ACER V3-772G

I intend to buy a laptop and I narrowed the options to those 2:
ASUS G56JR-CN168D
15.6" Full HD
Intel i7-4700HQ 2.4 Ghz
8GB RAM
500GB HDD 7200RPM
GTX 760M

and

ACER V3-772G-747a161TMamm
17.3" Full HD
Intel i7-4702MQ 2.3 Ghz
16GB RAM
1TB HDD 5400RPM
GTX 760M

The price difference is small, the ACER is just about 30$ more expensive, so that's not a problem. So, yeah, the ACER has better specs. Bigger screen, more RAM, bigger HDD. Now the ASUS has a slightly better CPU and more RPM for the HDD. I don't really care about the extra RAM, I don't need more than 8GB. And I think I can do with the 500GB HDD or buy an external one if needed. But I heard that 15.6" with Full HD is a pain for the eyes. As for the brand, that's where the difficulty in choosing comes. I haven't heard good things about ACER, I understand that their laptops are unreliable and their support sucks. So, are those differences in specs (especially the display) worth it to have an ASUS laptop rather than an ACER one?

Both are good,but if you're fine with a 15.6" screen,I recommend the ASUS model mainly because of the build quality and cooling
