When I turn my Galaxy S 2 phone on it only turns on as far as the Samsung logo screen. It won't go to the home screen and it just stays stuck like that. Usually all it takes is less than ten seconds to boot up to the home screen.

What is your carrier and where do you live? Have you tried removing the battery?
