Lenovo a3000h not detected when connected to windows 7 via usb cable

Hi,i have a problem with my lenovo a3000 h tablet.i used to be able to connect it to my pc via usb and it would always bring up the dialog on to ask in which mode mode you would like to connect your tab.but since two days ago i am not able to do this anymore,all it does is charge the phone but nothing else comes up.ive tried reinstalling the drivers on my pc using different cables and even connecting the tablet to another pc but nothing seems to be able to resolve my issue.is there anyone who might be able to help me with my problem.thanx in advance.

Try shutting down the tablet (not just turning off the screen) then restart it.
