I am going to buy a smartphone.
I am thinking about buying one of these two phones
the xperia m for Rs 11000, or xperia E1 for Rs 8800
There is a difference of Rs 2200
Is it worth it to buy the xperia m?
The xperia M has 1 GB ram while xperia E1 has only 512 mb ram
the xperia m has Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 cystem on chip while
the xperia e1 has Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200
The xperia m has 1.0 GHz dual-core Krait cpu while xperia e1 has 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 cpu.
xperia m has adreno 305 gpu while xperia e1 has adreno 302 gpu.
Xperia m also has front camera.
So, are these extras worth the Rs 2200?
1)Is 1 gb ram needed?
2)Is Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 more powerful than MSM8210 Snapdragon 200?
3)Is the 1 Ghz krait cpu much faster than the 1.2 Ghz cortex-A7?
4)Is Adreno 305 that much more powerful than Adreno 302?
5)Does the xperia m have any more additional important features that the xperia E1 lack?
6)Do either of them have replacable battery?

There’s a fairly big gulf between the Sony Xperia E1 and the Sony Xperia M, with the Xperia M leading in most areas. It has a better build quality, a slightly better screen, superior performance, a better camera and NFC support, though its storage capacity is the same and its battery performance is similar for the most part.
So the Xperia M is clearly the better phone, that is, unless you’re a music lover, because the Sony Xperia E1 has around double the battery life when listening to music and it has a far larger 100 decibel speaker. It even has a dedicated Walkman button, which launches the music app even if the phone is in sleep mode. It’s a phonefor music fans in other words and if music is your life then it’s a better prospect than...

But as an all-round smartphone the Sony Xperia M is far better and as the two handsets carry a similar price tag of around Rs11000 for the Xperia M and an expected price of around Rs8800 for the Xperia E1 it’s very hard to recommend the E1 over the M unless you’re really serious about music.
