Should I state in a RMA that I bought my laptop used?

So I purchased my MSI GT60 used off of Ebay. The DC jack is broken, and luckily, my laptop is still under warranty. In MSI's RMA request form, it asks if there have been any aftermarket modifications, and since it's used, there have been. My question is, should I say that my laptop is used, or will that void my warrant?

After market mods will refer to Hardware. Best Register your Laptop before you RMA, hopefully the previous owner won't have bothered and all will be hassle-free
