Will I be charged if it turns out my phone isn't faulty?

Hi everyone,
I am going through the process if replacing my Nexus 5 with a new one (I believe it is faulty) but will Google make me pay the full price of a new device if it turns out my original phone wasn't broken?
Thanks a lot.

Oh, they're sending you a new device first? That could explain it. Either they'll ask you for the new one back if the old one isn't faulty, or it'll be a refurbished one anyway.

They might have a 'wasting our time' charge, though.

When I've been talking to them this is what they've said:
- Only ship the 'faulty' device when the replacement arrives along with the shipping materials for the old one.
- You will be charged if it is found that the device has damage that is not covered under warranty.
-blah blah blah

I can't see any reason they'd charge me if my device is found to be in full working order, hmm..
Any other opinions?

Ok, thanks for your time. My 'Google Assistant' responded saying what I initially thought, there will only be a charge if the device has been broken beyond the warranty's cover.
Thanks a lot!
