for CAD3D, rendering, FEM - graphic card??

For CAD, rendering and FEM/BEM program it's better to buy a notebook with:
a) discrete graphic card (AMD or GeForce) and ivy bridge processor
b) integrated graphic card (HD 4400/4600?) and haswell processor
??

It's quite hard to find a computer with both discrete graphic card and haswell. My budget is about 1400$.

it's actually not that hard, you're just looking in the wrong places. it's far better to buy a laptop with discrete graphics card and haswell.
