Can hp envy 4501 run on a Windows Surface

Help! Can the HP Envy 4501 be installed on a Windows Surface ? I have downloaded the driver but am getting a message reading "cannot run this app...open Windows store. When I try to print, the Envy says it is printing but nothing prints! I have checked the paper, etc on the printer for problems and I can print from my ipad.... But not from Surface! Please help!

I'm confused here - are you trying to install a HP print driver on a Surface RT? If so the answer is you can't do it, and that's mainly because of the limitations of Windows RT.
