Hi, i'm looking for a phone for my dad and im not to sure where to start,

requirements (of sorts)
-Good browsing capabilities (probably almost any smartphone then)

-Tough-ish, can cope with a little bit of water, dust and the possibility of being dropped or sat on (apple out the window then)

-Half decent battery life (5yrs ago an easy find)

-costing up to around £225 or around $350

I would really appreciate if anyone chucked ideas at me as smartphones are not really my forte.

thanks

Huawei Honor 3 is a great android phone with $305.60 outdoor 3G, IP57 Waterproof,4.7Inch IPS,Quad-core 1.5G CPU, 13.1MP Camera, Infrared, Android Phone, and the battery life is pretty decent. I know this is a Chinese phone, but consider this if you want a phone that don't cost you a lot and has useful features.

The Google Nexus 5
* Best value for that price point.
* Buy the smart case with it even if it is overpriced for protection as the Nexus 5 drop test wasn't very nice.
Buy it here - http://www.google.ie/nexus/5/

Hey here,
I only find Huawei 3X here: http://www.tinydeal.com/huawei-3x-phone-px25v9n-p-121899.html
but it costs $339.99, where can i buy it at $305.60?
Besides i do not want Huawei 3C, it seems a bad specs for a cheaper price.

Choose a right phone is important, I use Nexus 5, it's OK except battery life, I kill power with music that's why got WIWOFIT Wireless Charger, someone suggested CHOE Brand, it's good but I pick this cheaper one, the LED is helpful to confirm it’s charging or not because I have no experience, the phone began charging as soon as been put on.
