AT&T HTC One Updating Question

So, I just switched from iOS to Android and I purchased a HTC One and so far I love it. So, I do a little research into Android and people are saying they're running 4.4 [Kit Kat] on their HTC One for Verizon and Sprint and when I go to the HTC website it says that 4.4 isn't release for AT&T yet which is fine...but it says that the current version is 4.3 and my phone is on 4.1.2 and when I go to AT&T Update it says it's the latest version and when I go to Info > Software Updates it says that I am running the latest version. Which would make me believe I am running the latest version but when HTC themselves say that the current version for AT&T is 4.3 it makes me think something is weird with my phone.

If your phone says you are running the latest version, you probably are. HTC probably didn't update whatever you saw that information from.
