NFSU2, metallic paint unlock?

I'm starting to mop up in stage 5 and I think everything is unlocked except
for metallic paint. What's the key for this lock?

Metallic paint? hmm...I think that's unlocked way before stage 5, by
locating graphic shops iirc. Have you found them all?

There's a shop missing in the Heights, don't remember if it's a graphics
shop. I took a drive through there quite slowly, looking for races when I
was stuck, didn't see it. :\

Talking of the Heights, I was leaving some downhill drift races (showing on
map), for later 'cause they give me quite a hard time, but now they've
disappeared. I've seen races popping up in areas I've cleaned out but not
noticed them disappearing before. Do they come back, or become available
through World Map?

The heights graphic shop is right next to the body shop...not 50 yards away.
