kindle fire hdx

does anyone have the kindle fire hdx?if yes,are you satisfied by it?i heard many bad things about the software.will it be best to get the nexus 7 instead?

No get the Nexus 7. The Kindle Fire's OS is pretty much an advertisement delivery system for Amazon. It may look great spec wise, but the Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2014 Edition, and even the iPad destroy the Kindle Fire in terms of the content they provide.
