how to update huawei u8800?

Hye,
I have a huawei att U8800-55
android 2.3 phone,
I want to know that can i upgrad
this android, 2.3 to 4.0 or 4.2? If
yes, kindly tell me how i do this
work?
2nd, Can i attach external wifi
antenna with this device?
Because there wifi router is at
too away from me about 500
meter away and wifi signals are
very weak not catchable. If yes
where i put antenna wire on
device?
3rd and last question is that, is it
possible to change wifi mac
address of this device? If yes,
how? Please complete detail me.

No you can't attach an external antenna, no you can't change the MAC of it.

For updates, I don't really see anything specifically for your model and you probably don't want to mess with it too much as installing a non-supported ROM can kill the phone and you'll have to restore it from a stock ROM image. http/www.modaco.com/topic/341011-ultimate-guide-to-the-huawei-u8800/

Many of those can not upgrade ,maybe you can restore factory settings,it can help you attach good signal.And if you want use a antenna help you get better signal,you must sure that its support your huawei att U8800-55 android 2.3 phone.
